ELAROS and Leeds Long COVID Rehab team deliver national webinar

On the 25th January, 2022, ELAROS and the Leeds Long Covid Rehab team delivered a national webinar alongside representatives from NHS England, Airedale NHS Trust, The University of Leeds, which was hosted by the Yorkshire & Humber Academic Health Science Network.

The Webinar began with ELAROS partners who covered: the story of Long COVID so far and the NHS response (Dr Melissa Heightman – North Central London ICS, Long COVID program NHSE),  the development of the C19-YRS scale, its validation and future work (Dr Manoj Sivan – The University of Leeds, World Health Organisation), the formation of the UKs first Long COVID pathway (Rachel Tarrant and Jenny Davison – Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust) and Bradford & Craven’s Long COVID pathway and Learnings (Jeremy Gee – Airedale NHSFT). The session was wrapped up by Román Rocha Lawrence (ELAROS’ Director of Research and Development) who outlined the Development of the digital C19-YRS platform and provided a demonstration before sharing a patient user story. 

This webinar will be followed up in the coming months as the use of the C19-YRS and Long COVID pathways in the NHS continue their rapid development.
