ITV feature ELAROS' C19-YRS

On Thursday 2nd of September, ITV published an article about the digital C19-YRS and it’s use in Salford. The article, which can be found here, referred to the app as “ground-breaking”. 

The testimonials and feedback contained within this article, are from the Northern Care Alliance or NCA, an NHS group that includes the Salford Royal, and Penine Acute Hospitals trusts. The NCA were one of the first adopters of the system, and staff at Salford have been valuable partners for the system, and have even helped in developing tutorial videos for training use.

The benefits of using the app, such as time saving for patients and clinicians, and assisting with data reporting were highlighted in comments from Salford’s Single Point of Access Team, such as this comment from Taruna Patel; 

“they will be able to see how their health is improving over time and use the information to form a discussion with their clinician, as well as to show their family.”

The C19-YRS team is thrilled for the platform to receive such positive coverage, and the feedback from patients and staff in Salford is incredibly valuable for the continued development of the digital C19-YRS.
